I have always had a passion to create. When I was younger, I always used my free time drawing and using my imagination. It wasn't until High School that I started taking art classes, and considered Art as a career. I found myself learning and improving my skills very quickly and at the end of my High School days, I decided to pursue Art in college. I first attended Northern Illinois University to major in Illustration. After completing my freshman year, I transferred to Columbia College Chicago, where I graduated (class of 2020) with a BA in Animation. While I was taking Animation courses at CCC, I was using computers and cintiques so much that I began to miss creating art the traditional way. In 2018, I decided to start doing commission work. At first I was nervous to be putting my work out there, but got a surprising amount of support from my friends and family. Since then, I have been using my artistic skills to create personalized works of art that will bring happiness to people for years to come.

When I was thinking about offering commissions, I thought about the benefit it would have on others. Helping people is something I find very important, and thought it would be so rewarding to use my artwork for that purpose. My motivation behind each piece stems from the pet's story and the bond they share with their human. One of my favorite parts of offering commissions is the pure joy and love I see on the person’s face when they look at the artwork of their pet. That is the reason I create pet portraits.
